A Visit to
Helping Friendly Farm
Here is the sign,
We must be there!
The driveway is long.
This is Molly outside the sensory barn.
Hi, Molly!
This is Rhys and Keats outside the sensory barn.
Hi, Rhys and Keats!
Before Molly plays in the sensory barn,
she puts her shoes in a cubby.
Before the boys play in the sensory barn,
they hang up their coats.
Molly likes to jump on the trampoline in the hallway. She is careful to hold on to the bar.
Light and Sound Room
Molly likes to make the dome light up by talking and making noises.
The bubble tube is cool to look at.
Look at all the colors!
It's fun to play the wall chimes
and the other instruments in the
Light and Sound Room.
Yoga and Meditation Room
and Reading Room
Sometimes it's nice to have some peace and quiet.
Great Downward Dog, Molly!
Reading and Yoga are both relaxaing.
Sensory Gym
Everyone loves to play in the sensory gym!
What do you think is the most fun?
The Rock and Gem Garden
Rhys and Keats like to stack rocks and sort gems.
Do you see the picture on the rock in Rhys’s hand?
The Vegetable and Herb Garden
Molly likes to explore the gardens
and collect herbs in a jar.
Play and Plant
Molly plays with trucks in the dirt.
Do you see the
farm animals she's hiding?
She plants a seed in a pot
to take home with her.
The boys like to play the musical instruments
along the pathway.
They dig for buried treasure in the
peace sign shaped digging area.
Apples!
In the Fall, Molly picks an apple from the tree.
She knows apples are good for her to eat!
The Goats (and Chickens)
Everyone loves the goats!!!
They ask for kisses, pets, and even hug the grey goat. Sometimes people climb
with the goats, but only if they want to climb.
Molly, Rhys, and Keats are very gentle. The chickens are curious and like
their visitors. The chickens do not like to be chased.
The Pigs - Bear and Marty
The pigs sleep in a tent inside their shed. Can you find Marty hidden with the stuffed animals?
Sometimes Marty likes to have his personal space.
Rhys and Keats like to pet Bear!
The Donkeys - Elvis and Moon
Keats blows on Elvis’s nose to say hello
When Moon puts his head on Keats’s shoulder, Keats knows that means Moon wants a hug.
Both donkeys are very sweet and gentle. They love getting attention. The donkeys like it best when visitors sit on stools or in chairs when they first meet. Donkeys do not like people running near them.
After visiting with the animals, Molly makes sure to wash her hands with sanitizer or soap and water!
